Shape the future of Health, Safety & Fire consultancy in education.

At Judicium Education, we help schools create safer environments for children, staff and visitors. Our multi-award-winning (BESA, 2025 and FSM, 2026) Health, Safety & Fire team supports thousands of education settings across the UK through expert consultancy, audits, training and practical advice, giving school leaders the confidence to meet their legal responsibilities.

As part of Supporting Education Group (SEG), we're proud to be building the UK's leading provider of professional services to the education sector. Our success is built on expertise, collaboration and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service to every client.

We're now looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Team Leader to join our growing team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety & Fire Consultant who is ready to take the next step into leadership.

You'll continue to manage your own portfolio of education clients while leading, coaching and supporting a small team of consultants, ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery and helping colleagues develop and thrive.

Working closely with the leadership team, you'll play an important role in driving operational excellence, maintaining quality standards, supporting continuous improvement and contributing to the future direction of the service. You'll also take ownership of a specialist area, such as Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Training or Onboarding, helping to shape best practice across the wider team.

If you enjoy developing people just as much as supporting clients, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Health, Safety & Fire Consultants.
  • Managing your own portfolio of education clients, delivering high-quality consultancy and advice.
  • Supporting quality assurance through case reviews, compliance oversight and constructive feedback.
  • Building strong relationships with Multi Academy Trusts and other education clients.
  • Driving consistency, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the team.
  • Supporting service innovation, knowledge sharing and the development of best practice.
  • Acting as a role model, providing guidance, accountability and leadership across the service.

About You:

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for developing others.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Health, Safety & Fire Consultant.
  • A Diploma Level 5 or 6 qualification in H&S and a Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety.
  • Experience managing relationships with Multi Academy Trusts (MATs).
  • Previous experience leading, coaching or mentoring colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and fire legislation within the education sector.
  • Confidence reviewing work, maintaining quality standards and managing risk.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

Our Benefits:

  • 28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days PLUS bank holidays
  • Health Cash Plan, once you’ve passed probation, which includes access to a private GP
  • From day 1, free life insurance covering up to x4 your salary
  • We’ll both add money into your pension pot after 3 months
  • Choose what flexible benefits you want after you’ve passed probation – this could be buying extra holiday, dental, topping up your healthcare plan, bikes, gym membership, electric cars and give as you earn
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Volunteer days – 3 paid volunteer days a year, with 2 dedicated to Education

By joining us, you will become part of a community that is dedicated to transforming lives and sustaining communities, where your voice is heard, your ideas are valued, and your individuality is celebrated. Together, we will continue to advance our passion for education and build brighter futures for all.

Employment offers are subject to satisfactory vetting checks. These checks will be run in line with the latest guidance and legislation. You will need to already have the right to work in the UK, as we are not able to offer any sponsorship(s) for visa applicants.
