About the Role:

It is an exciting period of growth and expansion at Neo People, and we are currently looking to recruit commercially minded Administrators, to join our fast-paced Payroll team. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and a passion for payroll and finance to contribute to a fast-paced, supportive environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly/monthly basis 

  • Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant, and processed on time 

  • Calculate statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.) and deductions 

  • Manage PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, and other payroll obligations 

  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner 

  • Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits 

  • Liaise with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow 

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation 

  • Assist with year-end processes, including P60s and P11Ds

Please note that this role is office based, at our new offices in Bury, Greater Manchester (BL9 8RN).

About You:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:

  • Previous payroll experience processing large or multi-site payrolls is desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong Excel and data handling skills.

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.

Our Benefits:

Please note that the salary range for this role is £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.

  • 28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days PLUS bank holidays
