What do our Clerks and Governance Professionals do?
Judicium Education's skilled School Clerks and Governance Professionals offer procedural, regulatory, and governance advice to educational boards, to ensure that governors can carry out their role within legal and regulatory frameworks, in turn facilitating effective school governance and continuous improvement of education standards across the schools we support.
Supported by regular briefings and exclusive training, and in collaboration with volunteers, chairs, and senior school managers, our clerks attend virtual or onsite meetings to assist governing bodies, organise meetings, draft agendas, and accurately record minutes with action timelines. They conduct research from various sources, maintain confidentiality and integrity, and ultimately make a critical contribution the efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and compliance of the governing board.
The role is home-based and allows for flexibility, though you would be required to attend schools for onsite meetings, as well the occasional Head Office meeting. Our clerks are fully supported and provided with regular briefing and exclusive training.
