To promote Best Practice Network programmes and courses through designing and delivering marketing campaigns through various channels such as email, social media, Google Ads and postal. A good communicator, the ideal candidate will be articulate and imaginative and love getting stuck in! Experience with organic/paid social media and Google advertising essential but a “can-do” attitude and natural communication skills are essential.

Plan and deliver marketing campaigns for training programmes offered by Best Practice Network, in consultation with the Programme Directors and Coordinators and the Marketing, Sales & Partnerships teams.
Due to almost all marketing campaigns requiring some element of copywriting and due to our target market being educators with a keen eye for grammar and spelling mistakes, you will need to have exceptional proofreading and copywriting skills.
You will be assigned specific programmes and will be expected to own every facet of their promotion and continuously strive to develop and improve all associated marketing. Candidates will be expected to develop and deliver structured marketing campaigns that utilise:

  • Data driven market and customer insights
  • Digital and social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook), both owned and paid, to engage new and existing clients with Best Practice Network and our programmes
  • Our SEO optimised websites updated with compelling content, thought leadership insights and case studies to demonstrate the impact of our training
  • Email marketing campaigns, segmented by audience
  • Direct mail campaigns
  • Public relations and media activity, delivered by our PR & Media Consultant
  • Approaches to relational marketing that maximise the benefits of existing partnerships and encourage the development of new partnerships
In addition, you will:
  • Ensure our marketing collateral is of a consistently high-quality and engages the audience in Best Practice Network programmes 
  • Build relationships with print and digital media outlets, brief and manage external agencies to ensure the delivery of campaigns on time and within budget
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activity for your programmes, identifying areas of strength and improvement
  • Utilise data provided by subject matter experts, to promote the positive impact of our work, on participants, schools and young people
  • An experienced Marketer (at least 3 years experience) who is confident in undertaking a full range of marketing activity, from developing campaigns to maintaining and growing social media accounts.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage audiences through written marketing content
  • Skilled user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience of website Content Management Systems
  • Some experience and knowledge of using the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally, to communicate clearly and maintain good working relationships
  • Ability to organise, plan and prioritise time and tasks effectively whilst meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders
  • Capable of maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while working within tight deadlines
