Operations Director – Farnborough, Hybrid

Part of the dynamically growing Supporting Education Group, Fleet Education Services is a leading, national provider of supplementary and alternative education specialising in tuition and education management services for councils, schools and other educational establishments across the UK.

As our Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives and commitment to educational excellence. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will drive the formulation and implementation of innovative approaches, fostering a results-driven, commercial environment where highly motivated teams thrive. You will be instrumental in enhancing the educator and client experience, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of learners and the communities we serve.

What You Can Offer?

  • Extensive experience in a leadership position, developing strategic and operational plans for delivery teams (within the education and/or recruitment sectors).
  • Successful operational management and a track record of leading the formulation and delivery of high quality services and outcomes. 
  • Demonstrable record of developing and sustaining a customer-focused culture, leading, motivating, and managing teams to achieve significant improvement and outstanding results at pace.
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle competing priorities and a challenging workload in a pressurised environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including strategic influencing/negotiation skills, with the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced financial planning/budgeting abilities.
We're also keen on:
  • Educated to degree level or comparable experience within the education and/or recruitment sectors.
  • Management qualification or equivalent preferred.
  • Change management experience and/or knowledge.
  • A strong passion for education and the difference it can make in the world.
