We offer proactive operational and strategic HR advice to hundreds of schools and deliver a high-quality payroll and pensions service that pays the salaries of 30,000 school-based staff each month. We are currently looking to recruit a commercially minded strong Administrator to join our fast-paced Payroll & Pensions team. Pensions experience is required and further training will be provided to the successful person. If you have a can do attitude and experience of working within a fast paced environment we would like to hear from you.

 

Main responsibilities include (but will not be limited to):

  • Reconciling and updating pension accounts with current and previous staff
  • Issuing correspondence of changes to accounts
  • Running month end reports and assisting with payroll reconciliations
  • Running I-Connect and MCR/MDC reporting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation including data protection, HMRC, LGPS and Teachers Pensions
  • Deal with real time information, auto-enrolment and check opt-out documentation
  • Be the first point of contact for all pension queries, over the phone and via email

To be successful in this role you will need:
 

  • Advanced IT skills specifically Excel (v-lookup), manipulate, analyse and upload data
  • Strong problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate strict deadlines and handle conflicting priorities
  • Knowledge of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) or Teachers Pensions (TPS) is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of all areas of Pension reporting.
  • High level of accurrancey and attention to detail
  • Preferred knowledge of ITrent/MHR software
  • Pensions/Payroll Education background is preferred
