What's the Role About?

At Thrive, we are building a new team who will be committed to delivering outstanding apprenticeship and training programmes. Our goal is to support the development and success of our learners through high-quality teaching, coaching, and mentoring.  

We are currently looking for a dedicated Quality and Compliance Leader to support the development and delivery of our new Early Intervention Practitioner Apprenticeship. If you have a strong background in education, training, and compliance, we want to hear from you! 

Day-to-day, the Apprenticeship Quality Compliance and Impact Manager will drive: 

  • Development and Delivery: Support the creation and implementation of Apprenticeship Standards, including delivery models, teaching and learning approaches, and compliance with ESFA/EQA requirements. 

  • Quality and Compliance: Lead quality and compliance practices across all Thrive training programmes, ensuring processes meet appropriate standards, including Ofsted, Department for Education, ESFA, and Awarding Organisations.

  • Data Collection and Submission: Set up and run the apprenticeship management platform (bud.com), ensuring data is always accurate and up to date. 

  • Team Development: Enhance the skills and capabilities of the Thrive team, ensuring high-quality tutoring, training, coaching, and mentoring. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement to achieve an Ofsted Grade 1 - Outstanding for apprenticeship delivery. 

  • Compliance Activities: Oversee ESFA compliance activities, plan and prepare for audits, and engage colleagues in external evaluations. 

Please note that this role involves hybrid working, based from either our Bloomsbury, London, or Newton Abbott, Devon offices. 

What Can You Bring to the Role?

  • Knowledge of recent developments in the apprenticeship landscape. 

  • Experience with Apprenticeship standards training and ESFA funding compliance. 

  • Management experience, particularly with accountability for results. 

  • Experience with Ofsted Inspections and managing End-Point Assessments for apprenticeships. 

  • Proven track record in performance management and budget handling. 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to travel (Full UK Driving License required). 

  • Professional qualifications relevant to training or teaching (Desirable) 

  • Internal Quality Assurance (IV) Qualification and experience (D34, D36, V1, TAQA Level 4)

Please note that this role will require BPSS clearance.

Please note that the salary range for this role is £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
