About the Role:

Thrive is launching a new education apprenticeship programme and other government-funded training initiatives, such as Mental Health Lead. We're looking for a dynamic Apprenticeships Operations Team Leader to join our innovative team. 

As the Apprenticeships Operations Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Head of Apprenticeship Delivery and the Quality, Compliance, and Impact Manager to ensure the seamless setup and operation of our apprenticeship programmes. This hands-on role involves onboarding new apprentices, managing data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and striving for high levels of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Operational Support: 

  • Deliver government-funded training programmes, meeting regulatory standards (Ofsted, ESFA, Department for Education).

  • Track and exceed KPIs, ensuring timely completion of apprenticeship elements. 

  • Manage apprenticeship data on Bud.com, tracking progress and maximizing completion rates.

Team Setup and Management: 

  • Support the establishment and management of a new Apprenticeships Team. 

  • Assist in recruiting, training, onboarding, and managing team members. 

Quality and Compliance: 

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Maintain up-to-date records and data for operational activities. 

Collaboration: 

  • Work with key departments (Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Finance). 

  • Participate in meetings to share information and plan improvements. 

Customer Satisfaction: 

  • Improve Net Promoter Scores (NPS) from apprentice and school feedback. 

  • Ensure a cohesive learner experience from application to completion. 


Please note that this role involves hybrid working, based from either our Bloomsbury, London, or Newton Abbott, Devon offices. 

About You:

You will have:

  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Drive and enthusiasm.

  • Experience in data collection, management, and reporting. 

  • Confidence in using online platforms for data analysis and reporting. 

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. 

  • A high level of literacy and numeracy. 

  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work independently. 

  • A full, clean driving licence. 

  • Experience in Apprenticeship operations and funding regulations (desirable). 

  • A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent (desirable).

Please note that this role will require BPSS clearance.
