About LMP Action:
LMP Action are passionate about giving young people, particularly those from challenging circumstances, the opportunity to take part in free, fun and engaging activities during the holiday periods. 

During 13 weeks of the year, we provide a range of enriching activities including sport, art, drama, and cookery for children aged 8-16. 
 

 

Job Title: Qualified (or in training) Teaching Assistants- Holiday Camps 
Organisation: LMP Action
Location: Hammersmith, London
Position Type: Part-time, Seasonal 
Salary: £60 per day


We are seeking passionate teaching assistants to join our team and contribute to the success of our holiday camps. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, have a creative approach to supporting educational activities, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people. 

Responsibilities:
•    Support with the delivering of workshops and activities.
•    Build positive relationships with children and young people, fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere.
•    Encourage active participation and provide guidance and support as needed.
•    Demonstrate a thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and ensure the safety and well-being of all children and young people in your care.
•    Represent LMP Action positively and contribute to the organisation's presence in the community.
 
Qualifications:
•    Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship (Or equivalent. Qualified or in training)
•    Previous experience working with children and young people.
•    Strong support skills.
•    Knowledge of safeguarding principles and practices.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Commitment to providing enriching opportunities for children.

Requirements:
•    Enhanced DBS check (Essential).
•    First Aid certification (Preferred but not essential).

The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other LMP stakeholders. Some work is confidential, and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognised course of duty. The post holder must always meet the requirements of the General Data Regulation Act.
