We at Best Practice Network share the belief that every child, regardless of their background, should benefit from an excellent education. To achieve that, we support and train the educational professionals who work alongside them to be the best they can be, so in turn, they can transform the lives of children and young people.

We’re a friendly, DfE accredited, Ofsted outstanding training company providing apprenticeships, professional development and the DfE’s ‘Golden Thread’ (trainee teachers to school Executive Leaders). We are adaptable, collaborative, and genuinely value the work we do to support the education sector, as much as our trainees do.

Our people are at the heart of our business and our passion and commitment to education is what drives us. As a result, we have seen incredible growth over the last few years both nationally and internationally.

We aim to be an employer where everyone can be themselves, do their best in an inclusive working environment and where all colleagues can thrive and reach their full potential. We want to attract, develop and retain individuals with different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives.

The role

As Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in showcasing our training programmes across various platforms, including email, social media, web and paid advertising. You’ll help us reach new audiences, communicate our values clearly and support professionals at key moments in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Craft engaging and impactful copy for emails, brochures, websites and social media that align with our brand and effectively communicate our programme benefits.

  • Web Management: Take ownership of programme web pages, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, visually engaging, and fully aligned with marketing campaigns.

  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels to drive awareness, engagement, and enrolment.

  • Brand Storytelling: Highlight the real-world impact of our programmes through compelling case studies and participant stories.

  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate on digital strategies, including SEO, PPC and paid ads, to maximize reach and ROI.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse campaign performance and web metrics to refine and improve marketing strategies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Partnerships, Sales, and Programme teams, as well as external partners, to deliver high-quality marketing materials consistently.

About you

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write clearly, persuasively and with purpose

  • A flair for creating eye-catching, on-brand visuals in Adobe and/or Canva

  • Experience with digital marketing channels and paid ads

  • Confidence in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience with email marketing platforms and CMS tools

  • A collaborative, proactive mindset

Knowledge of the education sector is desirable but not essential; what matters most is your ability to learn quickly, understand our audiences and communicate complex ideas clearly.

  • 28 days holiday and get an extra day for each year you stay with us, up to max 33 days PLUS bank holidays.
  • We pay for a Healthcare Plan once you’ve passed probation, which includes access to a private GP.

  • We’ll both add money into your pension pot after 3 months.
  • Get 25% off online learning resources for year 1 to GCSE with EdPlace.
