The Role:
We are on an exciting journey of growth and have a Business Development Manager opportunity in Cornwall, covering the South West of England. 
As a Business Development Manager, you will support the business growth of your regional branches through the provision of strategic and tactical business development via Multi Academy Trust and Multi School Group partnerships, Preferred Supplier Agreements and the development and management of the client portfolio. The role will be highly influential in expanding the overall school base and improving returns from existing schools.
Although not essential, the ideal candidate would have experience within education recruitment, or within business development for other educational services.

Responsibilities:
  • Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business across your region.
  • Meet with potential and existing clients face to face, online or over the phone. Building and fostering positive relationships.
  • Support your region in achieving budget days, growth on prior year and GPPD targets.
  • Provide guidance and advice to branch staff on client development and acquisition.
  • Play a key role in the internal and external promotion and development of selected products and business lines.
  • Actively business develop target clients and MATs and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Regularly review your region’s school base and potential MAT /PSA clients, analysing and evaluating key targets and the current levels of business penetration-highlighting successes, opportunities, and failings.
  • Maintain excellent understanding and knowledge of the staffing supply market and key trends both nationally and locally.
  • Conduct localised market analysis, client mapping and client development planning.
  • Identify opportunities for new and enhanced product offerings, services, and client tactics on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare for and attend client networking events and exhibitions
  • Work with branches and key internal stakeholders to ensure a solid educator base to service key clients and target MATs.
