Location: Blend of remote working and office based 1-2 days per month (Bloomsbury, London/Welwyn Garden City)

About the role:Due to recent acquisitions, growth across the board and the existing legacy communications we find ourselves in with multiple solutions and technologies. The purpose of this role is to consolidate these solutions into one which is Microsoft Teams solution. This includes the voice and calling element with a secondary goal of deploying RingCentral or similar to enable an integrated omnichannel solution with connections into our data and CRM sources.
A larger percentage of our business is a recruiter/recruitment model of calling education establishments and educators. There is also a percentage of sales and marketing teams, who likewise, look to customer engagement being critical to their success
Main responsibilities include:
- Assessing the current solutions within the companies (Mitel / TalkTalk Business HUC, Gamma Horizon and 3CX) and build a consolidation path based on each of Businesses and their technical risk.
- Migrating these solutions into one Teams based and company wide solution.
- Working with vendors and providers to ensure the smooth transition from old world to new
- Liaising with internal technical teams to transition the services with minimal impact
- Technically configuring Microsoft Teams, SIP, call routing and network connectivity
- Establishing monitoring, alerting and health checks
- Enable the Service desk to be able to troubleshoot to an agreed level
