By alleviating operational and administrative burdens, we ensure the school runs efficiently, freeing up time and leaving staff to focus on teaching the children.

 

To provide a high-quality financial & strategic consultancy service to allocated client schools and other educational bodies who purchase services from Strictly Education in accordance with SE Service Agreements. 

 

To seek to grow the business by identifying new business opportunities and new clients. 

 

Working with and supporting CEOs, CFOs, head teachers, school business managers and governors in Schools to raise awareness of the financial processes and procedures required and further develop the use of relevant school and or MAT software as appropriate.  

 

To take the operational lead and appropriate level of delivery on the Internal Scrutiny portfolio in conjunction with the Audit Manager. 

 

Be accountable for the professional discharge of duties to client and to the Audit Manager.

 

The ideal applicant will be a qualified or newly qualified accountant through a recognised professional body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) with an external/internal audit background or similar relevant experience. 

 

If you have experience working in the education sector, through auditing schools or academy trusts or colleges, this would be ideal but not essential. 

 

You are ambitious and proactive looking at new ways of working and willing to own your own professional development. 

 

You will be agile in your approach and be comfortable working at home, in an office and on-site at a school or academy trust. 

 

Candidates must be prepared to travel extensively, often at short notice to services nationwide. Driving licence is essential and this post will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
